Commission sheet

Welcome, and thank you for considering purchasing my services! Here is all the information you need to know before we get started.

Emails will be answered
from Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 to 20:30 (GMT-4)To avoid burnout, I only work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays
(May change due to college.)
I do not work on holidays.Queue closes after I've reached 6 requests total, it will open again once it's been emptied.

Terms of Service.

By commissioning me you agree to be purchasing my services only, as well as having read my Terms of Service.
Please read these terms carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.
If you have any doubts with any of these conditions, we can discuss a solution prior to paying for a commission piece.

I, Otomo Zhinee:

  • Deserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

  • Deserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time and for any reason.

  • Retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.

  • Will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.

  • Will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork, unless you break any of the terms.

  • Deserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online and in my portfolio.

The following is considered copyright infringement:

  • Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off of it in any way. (this includes NFTs, Cryptocurrency and any other blockchain-based technologies.)

  • Claiming the artwork as your own.

  • Removing my signature from the artwork.

  • Utilizing the artwork to fuel AI technologies of any kind.

  • Altering the artwork in any way, shape or form without my prior knowledge and consent.

You (the customer):

  • May upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social media with due credit to me.

  • Retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).

  • May NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes or to make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, make prints, etc.)

  • May NOT make use of the artwork to fuel AI based technologies.

  • May NOT alter the commissioned artwork in any way, shape or form without my prior knowledge and consent.

Refunds:

  • The customer is not allowed a refund once I started working on the commission.

  • If I, for any reason, am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.

  • If I am unable to finish your commission, you will receive a 55% refund.

  • If you cancel your order before I start it, you can get a full refund.

  • If you are getting a refund, do not use paypal chargeback, as I will transfer the money back to you myself.

By breaking any of these terms, the costumer will be given a single warning and, depending on the severity of the offense (or the repetition of), will be put on a blacklist.

Process and Delivery

  • After payment, I will notify you when I have started working on your commission. Remember, at that point, you lose the rights to a refund.

  • If your commission needs to be completed by a specific date, please give me at least a 4 weeks notice.

  • While I'm working on your commission, I will make reviews with you to make sure the piece is coming out exactly how you want it. The amount of reviews depends on the complexity of the work. Please do not be afraid to point out any mistakes/corrections during this process. Remember: This commission is for you, I only want to help make it a reality. ♥

  • Any changes requested for the drawing (hand position, facial expression, pose, etc.) will be free only during sketch/thumbnailing stage. Once I begin the linework (or cleaning, in case of a sketch commission) process, each change requested will cost $3, unless there was a misunderstanding from my part. This does not apply to color request changes.

  • All work-in-progress sent to review will include a watermark, and the preview sent will be smaller than the finished piece.

  • The time it takes to finish a commission will vary, depending on factors such as: Health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other pending work and any other personal matters that may arise. If anything comes up that might slow the progress of the delivery, I will let you know asap!

  • Once the piece is finished, you will receive the full-resolution image via Email. Please refrain from posting the full piece online before I do. Using it as an icon/header, sharing it privately with friends, is allowed.

How to email

If this is your first time or you're unsure what to write, here's a reference for you to use! You do not need to follow it bit by bit, as long as all the necessary information is in the email (or message), make it as personal as you'd like!

  • Name/Username:

  • Paypal email:

  • Type of Commission: (Bust/torso/fullbody. Sketch/flats/CelShade.)

  • Number of characters: (can only be up to 3 total per piece.)

  • Background: (no/yes, and what kind!)

  • Description: (Talk to me about the piece, what is the character(s) doing, what's the mood, etc. If there's details about the character you want to stand out for the piece, now's the time to mention them!)

  • Reference image(s): (Make sure the character's full body is visible if it's a full body commission, and so on! As well as making sure the reference includes the characters base colors.)

  • Would the client like to be tagged or remain anonymous?: (If yes to tagging, please mention your social medias here!)

  • Additional comments: (Optional, for example: If there's anything about the character you think I should know that could help me portray their personality better in the piece! Or if you need this piece done by a certain date, etc.)

DO's and DON'Ts

I will draw:

  • Humans.

  • Furry/Anthro characters.

  • Object characters.

  • Original/Fan Characters (sonas, self inserts, etc).

  • Ship art! canon characters, crossover ships, you name it!

  • Fanart of your favorite piece of media.

  • Minimalistic/Simple Backgrounds.

I will not draw:

  • NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content. This includes fetiches and paraphilias.

  • Mechas and/or mechanical objects of any kind. (Cartoon, stylized robots and simple designs are okay.)

  • Overly detailed backgrounds.

  • Portraits.

  • Overly Complex designs.

  • Gore. (blood and small wounds are okay!)

  • Hateful art.

  • Imitation of other art styles (anime, cartoons, another artist' work, etc).

  • Any content that involves incest, selfcest or pedophilia, regardless of the context.

SKETCHES

  • From $5 to $35

  • Flat colors and more are done with a watercolor style. It can include minimalistic backgrounds.

  • Extra characters are $3 each. Only two extra characters are allowed per piece.

  • Can include hatched lines for stylized shadows, only $1 extra for this option. It does not include backgrounds.

  • It includes minimalistic backgrounds.

  • Extra characters are $12 each. Only two extra characters are allowed per piece.

  • From $30 to $35

  • animated props & small character facial animations (3 frames)

  • PNG Icon (277 x 229)

  • GIF looped animation (3 seconds long)

  • Only one character (smaller critters count as static props)

  • client will receive a file without the signature for personal use as well as a signed one for public posting.

Discounts

  • 5% discount on all orders, from $30 and above, for all commission requests starring Crash Bandicoot or Rayman.

  • 10% discount on all orders, from $30 and above, for all commission requests starring Crash Bandicoot & Rayman together.

Ship art involving Crash or Rayman with other characters (ocXcanon,canonXcanon, etc.) is allowed! However, please keep in mind I may reject the request if it makes me uncomfortable.
Regardless, do not be discouraged nor ashamed to ask! as I'd love to draw these dorks for you.
